Welcome to the National Seafood Consortium

The National Seafood Consortium (NSC) is an organization of some of the most respected seafood wholesalers in the UK with links to the fishing industry dating back to 1870. We have come together to form the 3rd largest National Seafood Wholesaler, offering the hospitality industry a quality driven national distribution network.

Each member in the NSC is an expert not only in seafood but their local area and each of us takes pride in the provenance they can supply. We are continually expanding this knowledge to meet the increasing requirement for Regional Provenance, whilst using our combined buying power where necessary to deliver better value to all our customers. We have now also added the ability to freeze in both IQF and Block format meaning that the sheer depth and variety of our product range and offer is essential to any multi-site, National business, and is unrivalled by any other local or national supplier.
Involvement in the NSC is led by the owners of each business which means we are experts in facilitating new customers. We are aware of sensitive on-site issues when a supplier change takes place and take every measure including site visits and close customer management, to ensure each site is helped through the process. From a head office function we are able to operate a one point of contact, one price list, one payment (if required) approach. Whilst being able to provide comprehensive market reports, detailed specifications, and dedicated sales support.
All of our sites are certified to either BRC, SALSA or STS food accredited standards and we operate an open-door policy and are happy to be visited / audited at any time. All deliveries are made on temperature controlled vehicles and we are able to deliver to multi-site operations directly or via central distribution hubs.
